    Default Hospital-style bassinet hire

I was planning on hiring a hospital-style bassinet - I liked that they are clear (easy to see in), on wheels and have a storage tray for nappies etc. I've just done done research and a 3-month hire is practically the same price as purchasing a cheap, plain, wooden bassinet brand new. My questions for anyone who has hired a hospital-style one before:

    - is it worth it?
    - do they fit babies up to 6 months?

Hey @yogismumma I haven't hired one but have used a bassinet for all 4 of my girls. I would honestly look at buying one. Mainly because this bub obviously won't be your last, you would save money by just buying one and keeping it for subsequent bubs.
The hospital ones aren't the biggest, I had a friends child that only just fit in one at birth. There are so many different kinds in the shop, the older 3 were in one of those white lace ones for 3-6 months (except DD2 who was a crazy wriggler and needed the bigger cot at 3 weeks ), DD4 was in the boori rocking cradle (which I love) for a fair few months too.

@BabyG4 thank you!!! I suppose it definitely makes sense to buy one as next baby will use it as well.
