Default Stand up or sit down?

Just curious - does your DS stand up or sit down to pee? How old is he?

I was planning to have my 2yr old DS sit to pee while potty training, but he has decided he likes to stand! And his aim is of course terrible! Not surprising since he doesn't generally hold his pen!s...

    What does your DS do?

3yo DS always sits down. 5yo DS mostly sits down but occasionally will stand, usually after he's been around other kids at kindy and seen them stand.

My DS started off sitting down until he observed everyone else with a penis stands up. So he insists on this now... his aim is pretty good though. He's also very good at holding his penis 😳😂

DS has always stood, I tried to get him to sit when he first started but he wanted to "wee like daddy does!"

The funny thing is that DS has two mums, and i don't think he's ever seen a man pee - he just decided to stand up! He may have seen other boys at childcare though.

We are using a potty atm, but i have seen those urinal things that you can hang off the toilet. We also have one of those toilet step and seat things, but he's not very keen on it.

Started with DS sitting but after 3 months he was standing, now it is always standing - he has a pretty good aim if he doesn't get distracted!

Potty training ds right now and I get him to sit down. He is almost 3. He is way too uncoordinated to stand yet.
