    Default Love yourself message

    I pretty much don't follow any celebs on Instagram but I follow and ❤️ Fiona Faulkiner!

    I've been following her messages of body love and she has basically said in a nutshell that even after she lost 30kgs on the biggest loser, she still felt **** about herself. She realised that it wasn't her weight that was making her miserable, it was her attitude towards herself and how she didn't love herself.

    She said it was a long process to learn to love herself but she started by looking in the mirror, finding 1 thing she loved about herself and focussed on that for the day and made sure she left the house focusing on the positives and feeling good about herself.

    It explains so perfectly why my diets never work, because I don't love myself enough for it to work.

    So I thought maybe I would start a thread where we can all do this for ourselves each day and celebrate what we love (or at least like) about ourselves. So you must say one positive about your physical self and your inner self.

    I'll start tomorrow as I'm not feeling so positive about myself today

    Physical self positive - my eyes. I've got dark hair and bright blue eyes, so they stand out a lot. I'm always getting compliments about them, which is nice.

    Inner self positive - I'm a helper. Whilst I'm not great with charity work and donating my time (something I would like to do more of), I'm always happy and willing to help my family and friends whenever I can.

    I might join in as I'm in a serious state of self loathing at the moment & it needs to change.

    Physical - My hair. It's a lot of work, but when it's done nicely, it's flattering.

    Inner - I care a lot about this world & everyone in it & just want to do my best during my time.

    Physical - my hair. Although its starting to get some grey its mostly a lovely colour and texture

    Inner self - is it bad that I find it harder to 'see' my inner self. I would say that I am a good listener

    She was on the first season of the Biggest Loser. I think she came 4th? She is currently host.

    I think she's gone on to do plus size model and she's a bit of a role model for healthy weight loss

    Have u watched the body image movement? I think you would be interested.

    For me I have massive body image issues and it affects everything I do.
