I'm grateful for hot weather and no rain while the boys have got another two paddocks left to harvest and straw to cut and bale.
They've worked so hard and deserve something to go right

So close! We've still got over 2000.

Ugh! Are they getting through it ok? Storms in vic recently completely missed us. We didn't get a drop of rain! It meant they could keep going

    Great thread @gingermillie!
I am so grateful for my mum and everything she does for the kids and I. She took us in when our world crumbled and has fed, nurtured and loved us since the beginning. When she should be enjoying her retirement, she is here helping me raise the kids and is more of a parent to them than anything. What she does for us.... I can't explain. She is amazing.

I am grateful for coffee as I don't think I could survive my two tornados this morning without it.

We're in a hot weather run at the moment so it's sped up. We copped 20mm between Christmas and new year, that combined with the humid weather stopped us for a few days. Then we were on 4 or 5 hour days because of the moisture.

Glad you got going again! After last year, I'm just glad our farmers have something to harvest. I'm still new to this but I'm starting to see what a rollercoaster of emotions this farming game can be. All the work that goes into preparation, sowing, spraying, and then basically waiting with fingers crossed to see if Mother Nature will help or hinder.
Can't wait for after harvest when all the things we said we would do "after harvest" like a short holiday, can get done!

I'm grateful for my DH. I don't often talk much about all the good things he does because I'll let on to BH just how lazy a parent I can be. But this guy is awesome. He's a great Dad. He supports me and he contributes to every aspect of our life, often more than a 50% share.

Great thread! I'm grateful for the extreme jet lag we've experienced this week because it reminds me we were fortunate enough to travel overseas. And coffee. Coffee is seeing me through said extreme jet lag

I am grateful that 2017 is shaping up to be better than 2016 for my little family.
