Today I'm grateful for something good (finally) happening at work.
I'm also grateful for getting extra special cuddles from DD when she fell asleep on me. She hasn't done that in ages and reminds me of when she was a newborn.

today I am grateful for my recovery clinician to not overreacting to a situation she walked into and for telling the CAT team that if I call on the weekend they need to make time to talk to to me (because often in management plans it is all about reducing the amount people call triage and being discouraging of excessive amounts of contact). She could have very easily taken the road of having me transported to hospital rather than spending the couple of hours here talking me down. Because she is in charge this week hopefully they have listened to her.

I miss toddler kisses - 13 year olds tend to not be interested in kisses from mum (luckily for him he still does cuddles though)

Today I'm grateful that dd *tried* all her veggies with dinner (pumpkin, carrot and potato). I could possibly go as far to say she ate some carrot and pumpkin Good job dd

since today has overall been a totally crap day (no gas & totally ruined dinner wasting 2 chicken breast fillets while just generally feeling very much on a downward spiral I'm struggling to get a grip on) I am grateful for my recovery clinician. Not only is she spending a lot of time trying to help me get a grip on the early warning signs but I got a phone call today that she had recommended me to her boss as a peer support worker role. Unfortunately it just won't work as I'm currently not up to a full time job (she was aware that it was probably not a good time in my life), but the lady who called asked if it's ok if she calls when these roles come up (as apparently they often do) as she sees the knowledge I have combined with the study I've done as making me an ideal candidate for the work. So while it won't help things right now, I am now hopeful that there will be something there down the line when I am in a better place and not in so much need of support myself as now.

I am grateful that my dd sleeps well. Having been through many sleep difficulties I realize how precious baby/toddler sleep is and I'm so so grateful when it's going good!!

I am grateful for a caring teenage son. I haven't been well today and he looked after his 4 yr brother and made me food and drinks all day so i could just rest. He even did the groceries for me. All without being asked.
