Glad you're safe! My friend at Peregian Beach was getting a bit worried, but thankfully it didn't spread further that way.

I was oblivious to most of it as I was at work at had no idea there was even a fire. On the drive home and heard the emergency notices on the radio every 15 mins but still didn't really think it could be that bad. I stopped to get fuel and checked FB - the flames were 50 m from DD's daycare centre, then I started freaking out. DD is usually in daycare but DF was home for the day so had her. The 'what-ifs' started running through my head. Agh!!!
    Thankfully everyone is safe

I am incredibly grateful for my DH today. And most days really. I know I complain about him, but I love him to bits and he always has my best interests at heart.

    I love this thread.
I'm grateful I have my normal hearing back, which is better now because of a new model sound processor than I had before.
I'm grateful for my son and that he loves me no matter what.
I'm grateful for my family, even though some things happened over Christmas they're everything for me.
I'm grateful for my little brother he always has a way of talking to me and getting me to be less emotional and more rational about most things.

Today I'm grateful for a very generous gift from a friend which included a gold class movie voucher. A little push for DH and I to go on our first date since dd was born
