Default IVF - TTC Jan '17 - "Factor V Leiden Mutation"

So following all the diagnostic tests necessary, I have found out that I have "Factor V Leiden Mutation". It's the mutation of G1691A in Factor V gene.

I have inherited this from one of my parents.

I will need to give myself heparin shots daily if (when) I get pregnant.

Our first cycle will start in January and I am (understandably) a little nervous.

Has anyone had to self administer heparin shots and go on to have a healthy child/ no serious complications?

My egg count done at the psy-co-sy was pretty high at 17 eggs! I do not have PCOS though.

My husband also has low sperm count and we will therefore also be doing ICSI. While we are waiting, he has increased Vitamin D and is taking some supplements to help improve count, motility and morphology.

I've also posted this on another forum however no one responded.

Hello 🌼 I use clexane every day. Similar blood thinning effect, I wonder if it's administered the same. Trying to conceive. FET this month after miscarriage in November.
