I love Hollywood, I work in the medical industry and wouldn't go anywhere else but I'm sure lots of people love other clinics!
I'm actually really excited and just want to start the journey!! I'm under no illusion that it'll be easy but it's a step forward! We are in month 16 of tcc #1! And after 9 months of weekly injections and pills it all seems like I'm ready

So I didn't have a great start to the journey! My appt was booked for the 20th with dr Barton but the day before I flew off on my holiday they emailed me to say she was leaving early that day so couldn't do the appt and would change it to the 24th!!! I live 700km away and that's my first day back at school so no that doesn't work

Luckily just before I got on the plane they managed to get me in with dr Lincoln Brett!

That is ridiculous @Mad89! Lucky they ended up getting you another appt on the same day

Just finished our first appointment! Feeling a lot better about everything (maybe not the cost haha) and Dr Brett was great now just have to choose when we want to start! I'll have to try time it around school holidays as much as possible because I'm so far from Perth!

Thanks for the recommendations we have our initial appointment with Hollywood (Dr Allen) at the end of may.

Does anyone know how long after the initial appointment it takes to get things started? I feel like I've been waiting forever already

I just had my appointment with them depends what tests etc they may want you to do and what cycle day you're on at the time so you can be on the pill to time your cycle to start your ivf at the right time. I was told I would then have to call them the month before to organise it!

I hope that all makes sense haha

@Elf2017 I had my appointment with Hollywood at the end of April just after my cycle, so then had to wait until this month for my next cycle for my ultrasound and antral follicle count scan. So will be starting my ivf cycle on my next period
