Default Having trouble understanding what my son is trying to explain

My son is 5.5 and for over a year now, on and off, he has been screaming and having like a meltdown saying 'my doodle hurts' or 'the wee wee keeps coming out'.

We have taken him to the GP about 5 times or more for the issue, and every time they test for a UTI it comes back clear.

I may have posted about this before but I am no closer to finding answers.

It stops for ages, and then he starts up again. He has had behavioural issues in the past and at one point we believed it was just an attention seeking thing.

His behaviour has improved a lot lately but he's now saying this again and still having a meltdown.

If it's not a UTI, what else could cause that sensation of feeling like urine is coming out?

Any ideas? I am planning on going back to the GP of course, but I am afraid they will just turn me away again.

Is he circumcised? If not, could the foreskin be too tight? If so, could it be an issue with scar tissue?

Didn't he have issues with undescended test.es? Could it be anything to do with that?

No that was my little one. He's not circumcised and we did have cream to put on it to see if it would help, I don't know if it made a difference. I will try it again in the meantime to see what happens

We've had to use kencomb cream on DS1 a few times due to his foreskin being a bit tight (uncircumcised) and so he is more prone to infection. The cream definitely helps.

The thing is he doesn't have a UTI. He just says that even after he wee's, he feels like wee is coming out again. I asked if it burns or stings and he said no, just that it feels like wee is coming out.

In that case I'd ask for a referral to a urologist.
