    Default Can anyone help!

Can anyone help me out, I'm looking for a wooden yarn bowl for my sisters birthday in a couple of weeks. Preferably something local as a lot of them seem to be coming from overseas. Also looking for something that's closer to $50 rather than $100. What I'm looking for is something similar to these... have already looked in etsy but wondering if there might be a local yarn store etc somewhere that makes/sells them that I can buy from online and have posted to my mum.

    Thanks all!

I have never seen one but maybe somewhere like local 'maker's' markets? I know some of them let you put in orders so maybe fond someone who sells wooden things and see if they can make one?

Yeah it would mean I'd have to find a decent craft market though and then get there. I did think about whether or not the "Men's Shed" would do something like that for me, but DH doesn't think they would. Shame, as there are 2 within 5 mins to me and loads around locally too.

I would just go and have a look and ask. If not then there is etsy as y9ur backup.

Go and ask. The men come from all backgrounds. You could also try the local wood turners guild.

I thought the same when I saw it earlier. Then when you go to check out it classifies Australia as international postage. Will have a better look when I'm home on my computer as have just been browsing on my phone today while we've been out.

Just had a look on the computer and it directs you to the Australian website, postage $7.99 but it is sent from the USA. 8-12 days delivery.
