Hi Ginger...good thread and Holly Pollyanna great goals
I set up to 10 goals each year in December and usually achieve 7...
My goals for next year are
1. Be more positive
2. More patient
3. Relax more
4. Date night 1x week with hubby
5. Quality outings with daughter 2x week
6. Spend less save more..ask do I really need it..donate to friends and charity..when I have less clutter head feels better
7. Eat better..3 meals a day but portion control .need to be normal weight 1 month after baby arrives.
8. Invest some money into something that will be worth a lot of money in 10 years
9. Enjoy new baby
10. Stop trying so hard with friends who are too hard..eliminate people from life who I no longer like.

I don't believe in NY Resolutions as such- but I do tell myself during the year that I need to do xyz better, write it down and commit.
I have a start date of 27th Feb to do the gym once a week, and swim once a week. My daughter's first birthday is the 25th and I promised myself I would begin after that, 26th is a Sunday.
So Monday and Saturday are my days.

I always make them and never keep them!
2017 is going to be a year of minimalism for me. Less stuff, more time. I want to take the year to declutter our lives (and it'll take that long to do it!) and try to simply everything. Less business but I want more time with our friends.
I also want to take more videos of my kids and edit them into movies, and be better at journaling once a week on all the funny stuff they do. So when I'm old and grey and lonely for snuggly babies and toddlers I can read it.

I want to make some changes for 2017.
1. I will loose 5 to 10 kgs.
2. I will save $1000 for our holiday in September.
3. I will continue to make 5 days a week at the gym.
4. I will track my spending on clothes.
good luck everyone, marie.

I'm not much for resolutions because I don't often stick to them
Things I would like to achieve next year will be improving our financial situation, saving for a family holiday and me finally becoming more active by partaking in regular exercise.

I got a head start on my resolution of less 'stuff' - just cleaned my wardrobe out and I'm getting rid of 4 bags of clothes
there's probably more I could chuck too. It's disgusting. Some worn to death some barely or never worn. Some I held onto for nostalgia and a bunch of maternity clothes I'll never need again!
Now I have to do DHs wardrobe and the linen cupboard.
DDs is easy as I just get rid of everything as she grows as soon as it's a bit small it goes in the never ending pile of baby crap I can't sell
