    Default Taking decorations down

I wanted to take the tree and everything else down yesterday. DH said to wait until Jan 1st.

Sigh. We have the same debate every year.

I really, really want to tidy up and take everything down today but I feel like a grinch!

When do you take down all your decorations and Christmas Tree?

We took ours down on Christmas night this year because we're going away. Normally we do it Boxing Day. I love Christmas, but by Boxing Day I am ready to tidy up and start looking forward to the new year.

I'm feeling the same. Happy to look at the tree and decorations up until Christmas but now it's just clutter lol

However we usually wait until January 2ish, or double demerits are over, as it is apparently still the "Christmas holidays".

Mines gone In the years when I don't have DS from Christmas afternoon onwards, it gets pulled down ASAP so I dont have to look at it. The years I have him after christmas we keep it up until 1 January or later.

We normally leave everything up until at least February. Have taken the tree down as trying to make room for a chair that was given to us.

    I don't have a set time.

Last year I took them down pretty promptly (Boxing Day from memory). I imagine mine will be taken down before New Years Day.
