I prefer wash. My dad uses soap so I always keep some at home for him to use when he stays.

Yes always bars of soap. Usually a box of cheapies but sometimes imperial leather or Lux or Norsca. I use it for everything including washing face.

No, I use liquid Castile soap for my body. But I'm kinda thinking its a good idea to use it to shave my legs so I'm going to dig out one I was given and try!

I do, just in the shower. I'm not a fan of body wash and don't use a lot of the bar of soap. Dh on the other hand goes through crazy amounts of soap so I only get cheap bars. For hands I use liquid soap only.

Eta. Oh I use soap to shave my legs too!

And lush is amazing...I would use a bar of lush soap. Wouldn't last long enough in this house to get gross.

Soap makes the shower dirtier so we only use liquid body wash on a shower puff. Also, I hate the way the soap gets all over the vanity so we use liquid hand wash as well. Dh wasn't keen on giving up his soap bar for the shower, but I told him that he was welcome to use it, as long as he was happy to be responsible for cleaning the shower forever. He is now fully converted to body wash ha ha!

Hmm we use both body wash and bars of soap in the shower / bath... We have a soap dish so no mess.. And we rub the bar of soap on a flannel to get that soapy so we actually don't use the bar on our body. Liquid hand wash for our hands though

    Nope!

I remember how horrified I was when I went to my partners house (at the time he was still living with his parents and 2 brothers) and I stayed the night, went to have a shower and there was only a bar of soap! Shared between all 3 of the brothers (the youngest brother being 18). I literally couldn't believe it, I honestly thought people didn't use bar soap anymore.

Anyways, I made sure next time I took myself some body wash and left it there. sure enough the time after that I visited there was an empty bottle, and they've used liquid body wash ever since.

Ps. I did use a bar of soap once and it made my skin feel so dry and not smooth like body wash does?
