I stopped when I could see the little holes in barbie's head where the hair was stuck in.
It was not a flattering cut for barbie!

Default Favourite toys of your childhood - nostalgia thread

I was an 80s child and I can't believe no one else has said this...
Magic 8 Ball! I still remember asking my dad for $10 to buy it when I was about 8 years old and I coveted it
I also had a strawberry shortcake doll can still remember the smell.
I had another doll where you could mix up this jelly food and feed it.
I loved my roller blades, got my first pair when I was about 10.
I loved reading and would pore over the scholastic book club catalogues that got sent home from school I still have my copy of little women from when I was a little girl and a little golden book called where is the bear and I read it to my dd. My primary school was across the road from the public library and I used to go there every day after school.
ETA - glow worm! I adored my glow worm

    Grew up in the 90s:

Lego - when it wasn't all character tie-ins. LOVED lego robotics as I got older.
    Grand Champion horses
    Littlest Pet Shop
    Electronics and magnetic sets
    Sylvanian famiies animals
    Barbie horse & stable
    Polly Pocket

I had a puppy surprise that I sold on Gumtree a couple of years ago. I'm sure the kids would have loved it, but can't keep everything!
