    Default Favourite toys of your childhood - nostalgia thread

    I was an 80s child and I can't believe no one else has said this...
    Magic 8 Ball! I still remember asking my dad for $10 to buy it when I was about 8 years old and I coveted it
    I also had a strawberry shortcake doll can still remember the smell.
    I had another doll where you could mix up this jelly food and feed it.
    I loved my roller blades, got my first pair when I was about 10.
    I loved reading and would pore over the scholastic book club catalogues that got sent home from school I still have my copy of little women from when I was a little girl and a little golden book called where is the bear and I read it to my dd. My primary school was across the road from the public library and I used to go there every day after school.
    ETA - glow worm! I adored my glow worm

    My Sooty and Sweep Glove Puppets. I can still remember the day I got them I was 3 and I got my fingers slammed in the kindy door. I still have them 28 years later, they are now very thereadbare.

    I had a puppy surprise that I sold on Gumtree a couple of years ago. I'm sure the kids would have loved it, but can't keep everything!
