Default Period Pants - Would you?

I'm really late to the party when it comes to new ways to cope with menstruation.I only heard about menstruation cups in the last two years.
Today on Facebook I read an article about period pants. Not just comfy nanna knickers to wear to feel more comfortable, I mean pants designed to absorb menstruation, LBL, sweat and odour.
So i'm curious... Have you heard of these? would you try these? Are you curious too or do they sound revolting to you? Or something else entirely?

I wouldn't mind trying them mainly just for bed as I am sick of getting stains on my sheets even if I wear 2 pads. I don't think I would wear them any other time though.

I don't think I would try them. I'm fairly comfortable with standard sanitary products.

If I was to try anything different it would be a cup.

I just read an article on them as well - the pants looked really good - boycut, bikini, French etc.

The concept kind of freaks me out but I can see how easy it would be to not have to worry about other products etc.

I think overnight it would be great - just to wear undies and not worry about scrunching, leaking, etc.

ETA: the product I read about was called Thinx if anyone wants to have a google.

    Sounds great!!!
I gave struggled to use tampons effectively since the birth of dd2 - leakage issues galore- and I HATE sanitary pads- gross- with their rustling, that smell, and leakage (even with wings).
I only heard of cups thanks to BH and whilst I'm curious I'm still a bit hesitant about inserting a cup up there lol.

I just wonder about the smell (yes there is a scent!) and also about washing, transportation.

But sounds like a great concept!

I heard about the pants a few months back. I actually went on and had a good look at them, could never bring myself to buy them though. They say can hold up to 5ml but I have no clue how much comes out, nor do I want to lol. I would always feel paranoid that they'll fail on me at the worst possible time.
This lady reviews them and seems to be a fan https://www.google.com.au/amp/www.se...?client=safari

I bought some recently! They are great for me from day two on. My first day is super heavy but the undies are still good then as I wear a tampon and don't have to stress about leakage.

I was sceptical but they hold the liquid and don't smell. They are comfy and feel dry. Mine are modibodi.

Absolutely! I use a cup...but on day one it is heavy and I wear a cloth panty liner just in case I am stuck at work and it leaks a little before I can get to the toilet.
I will absolutely try these undies when I need to replace my panty liners.
As a side note....standard sanitary products suck. When you switch you can't go back!

I bought a cup a while ago, but used it once - to test fot and comfort - it was fine btw!. I will have to give it a better go, but the modibodi pants sounds like a great idea!

@teenie, I think those are the ones I have seen on fb advertised. Do you wear anything from day 2 or just the underwear?
