Dh's friend has recently come out as transgender. It's really amazing to see his friends support him etc as hubby's friends are really bloke blokes and I dunno? Down pub for drinks/still take drugs/ party... I actually thought they would be very homophobic. When they said he came out I thought they were taking the **** out of him.

He hasn't come home in ages (he's moved towns) but he's even had surgery!

Default Do you have an ex that 'switched teams'?

Not an ex but a friend of mines wife is becoming a man... they are now divorced so she is transitioning. Their kids are 2&5 and struggling to understand

Not me, but my sisters high school boyfriend is now a woman. Not sure if she goes for guys or girls though. Makes quite an attractive woman actually.

My best friend switched teams after her last boyfriend, she's been with a woman for about 6 years now.

One of her ex boyfriends came out a few years ago as well, she said it wasn't a surprise.

My sister in law was in a long term relationship with a woman when I met DH. They broke up and now she is seeing a guy. Wasn't easy to explain that one to my old school closed minded parents

Can I diverge this just slightly?
I've never been in a relationship with another guy, but I think I could be though if that can happen, no special person of the same sex has come alone just yet.

I see sexuality as fluid, and shouldn't be confined by labels, I had a highly religious up bringing but at the same time, I was always encouraged by my parents to be myself and also love whoever I love irrespective of sex.
I don't think this makes me confused but rather open to anything that comes alone if it feels right.

I only know of one couple. The wife left after the children were adults. I think the husband has been devastated, but the wife has moved on without a problem. marie.

2 guys I dated came out a few years later. Neither was a serious boyfriend and I wasn't particularly surprised by either.

No... But dp had a fling with someone who said she was definitely straight and couldn't be in a r/ship with DP (who had declared her love for her) and she's now settled down with her female partner... Dp feels slightly miffed
