    Yes absolutely the best thing ever. I'm grateful for being a bit older and having time to experience life before having kids because now i can be there for them 100%.

    The best thing I ever did, was cut my paternal side of the family out of my life.
    The second was meeting H as through him I got DSD and DSS.
    Having DD has been a struggle, but one that I don't regret, as I know the struggle is not her as such, but the level of care I have to do, and the other stuff too.

    ETA: If I could change having had DD, honestly I would. But I am saying that in the midst of 'the first year' with a useless H and two demanding step-kids.
    If she had come in a supportive environment, I would have much more enjoyment of her.
    As it is, I make sure to spend 10 minutes every day just enjoying her- not doing anything, just being. She deserves so much more, but that is all I can give for now.
