This reminds me of the time I answered the door to the postie with my b.oob still hanging out as I had just finished bfing ds.

I'm quite self conscious usually so if I know someone (even just my mum!) is coming I'll make sure I'm dressed and my hair and makeup are done. Having a newborn did throw that out for a bit though!

I've been bfing so long now that even with a bra on my nipples sometimes show.

Just didn't think many women would but I guess we are all different and that's perfectly fine
I actually wish I wasn't so self conscious

Haha wow you're all so confident in your bodies! If I have anyone coming, I'm always up, dressed with my hair tidy and usually makeup done (tidy just means combed and in a bun, and light natural makeup). I would put a jumper on if someone came unexpectedly and I wasn't wearing a bra, like a courier.

If I have a tradie coming I make sure I get up early to shower and dress before they arrive. I just feel more comfortable and I wouldn't want to be showering or changing when they are in the house.

Having said that, I've regularly answered the door to the courier in my pjs or even actually gotten out of bed to answer him. He comes at 7.30am and when on Mat leave if my kids were asleep I'd sleep in too. One day he came when I had just returned to work and when I answered he actually said oh you're up.

Yes I always make sure I am dressed, with bra if a tradie is booked. I just prefer strangers not to see me in my jammies. DH also would be dressed if he was home, but we're normally all dressed by 7am anyway.
I don't hesitate to BF though and even though they don't see anything I've had a couple (plumber and pest control guy) walk through the house with eyes averted saying "bye see you the office will send the bill" and out the door as quick as possible, obviously not very comfortable with BF.
DH works from home and gets deliveries about 3x a week - all the delivery drivers have had me answer the door with baby attached.

In general I don't really care what others think of me but I just prefer my body to be covered up and life would be marginally easier if it wasn't something I gave a second thought to.

I let tradies in in my pjs/nightie...generally braless. Guess I don't really care what they think tbh
