My SIL is always regifting us stuff, which I don't mind because it's normally stuff I like haha but cmon, put in a little effort once in a while.
Once she regifted a movie voucher but didn't think to open the original envelope, still had a personalised message to her from someone else

Kind of a regift...my hubby got some work socks (tradie ones) from his mum and the card holder keeping them together was loose. He read the pack and it was meant to have 5 pairs but only had 3 she'd kept the other two pairs apparently for around the house and didn't think he'd notice lol

I don't have a regift story to share, but how about one twin forgetting her twin sisters 50th birthday. !! honestly.!!

Regifting fails! Have you experienced one?
My sister once bought a slow cooker from a department store, and when she got home and opened up the box it had a card attached saying, to 'Katie, we hope you love your present and will get lots of use out if it, love John and Jo'.
Clearly Katie wasn't a fan of said present!

DH once got some xxxxl shirts from his mum for his birthday, they were obviously bought for his Step dad but either didn't fit(too small) or not his style. DH is an M at his largest so it was a pretty obvious regift.

Did any of you point it out to the regifter?

These are making me cringe and laugh at the same time.

Not exactly a regift scenario, but for Christmas one year my Uncle gave me a crusty old umbrella someone left in the back of his taxi. He wrapped it up and everything. When I opened it, my Mum said "*Uncle*, that umbrella is old!" His reasoning was that just because it was old didn't make it useless
He had a point, but it still wasn't my favourite
