    Default Chicken recipes

    Hi

Does anyone know what those places that already sell BBQ cooked chooks put on their chickens?

    It's delicious.

Also tell me your favourite chicken meal. Please

No idea but I'm subbing in case someone else knows!

As for favourite chicken recipes, my family makes a warm chicken and potato salad that I love!

    Ingredients:
    1 Bbq chicken (shredded)
Baby potatoes (halved or quartered and roasted)
    Diced bacon
    Shallots
    1 tub Sour cream
    Approx 1 tablespoon Seeded mustard
    Mayonnaise to taste

It's not exactly healthy but it is a crowd pleaser!

I think most of it is in the way it's cooked on a rotisserie so the fat keeps dropping on the skin as it turns and hits the charcoal which then gives it its flavour, I'd also say there would be a ton of salt or chicken salt on it! You could try do it on a BBQ if it had a rotisserie on it ?

BettyV lol who cares if it's healthy so long as it's yum.

I'm a moderate mum. Healthy for at least one meal a day. Lollies are fine 3 times a week. Chocolate is allowed 3times a week. Salt is fine, butter is fine, sugar is fine.

I know of a girl who calls a recipe cookies. They are her cookies. They are mejool dates with almond meal in it squished out to look like a cookie. Poor girl has no idea what a cookie is. They had no birthday cake. And crackers and cheese at a 5yr olds b'day party. No she hasn't got an allergy. She came to my dd b'day party. Mum must have had a cotton fit!

So yeah I'm not into healthy all the time!

All recipes healthy or not welcomed!!!!

When I was a kitchen hand long long ago - we used to mix paprika (quite a lot) and oil and the brush it on (thickly) to the BBQ chook before putting it in the rotisserie.

I made a chicken last Xmas that had garlic butter and salt stuffed under the skin and the roasted. Most definitely wasn't healthy but was the yummiest juiciest chicken ever
