Usually when you have longer cycles you ovulate later in your cycle. Going by that, I would think person 1 and conceiving on the 21st BUT some cycles can be different and you may have O earlier meaning that you conceived on the 11th.. I usually have 32 day average cycles and O between day 18-24 (that's why I would take a stab at person 1).

Might need to get a dating scan done and see if that helps, however I think you're really going to need to get a paternity test done. Otherwise there's always going to be a possibility it's not their baby, and that's not fair on anyone. Good luck!

Did the scan show an estimated conception date?

If you're 5 weeks 5 days, you conceived (assuming you have a 14 day luteal phase) 3 weeks 5 days ago. So with that I'm getting approve 17th November. So would probably rule out 21st so would have been 11th (sperm can live for 5 days before meeting with an egg. Egg only lasts 24 hours).

@stormin dating scans go by the first day of your last period. So you always take away approx 2 weeks from that dating scan and that is when conception actually happened.
This is a hard one did you finish or start your period 31 October?

I don't think that's how dating scans work. They measure the baby and that's how they determine your due date.

I don't think the scan has really shed much light on whether conception happened around the 11th or the 21st because it doesn't align well with either date. If I had to guess I'd suspect the 11th just because it's closer to the "typical" fertile period of a woman whose had their period on the 31st Oct, but that certainly doesn't rule out the 21st encounter either. Unfortunately the only way to know for certain is a paternity test. I hope both partners will be supportive during the pregnancy, you'll need great people around you. Wishing you all the best xx
