    @positvity so glad you're enjoying maternity leave, I swear I'm the only the only lady I know of whose boobs didn't grow during pregnancy! Probably half the reason I had issues with my milk really. I also got my hair done just before we had little miss, figured it would probably be a few months until I was back there again.
    @Muchulu1 thanks Hun. I hope you and Charlie and going well.

    I think I spoke to soon about little miss being chilled. Lol, last night she only slept 1x 3 hour stretch other than that she was screaming. I think she must be windy, nothing we did would console the poor little thing. It was heartbreaking to watch her. Didn't really understand just how much seeing her so upset would make me so upset. Went to the pharmacy today to see if there was drops or something we could try, he gave us some gripe water but then I got home and read the bottle and it says she can't have it until 1 month old. So I rang the maternal health line and they agreed to not give it to her until she's 4 weeks old. We see our midwife tomorrow so I'll ask her too. Fingers crossed it was just a once off. She has however been a bit unsettled today too.
    DH has 2 weeks off, is due back Wednesday but his work is flexible if we're not coping he can take longer or work from home too.
    @SurferGalGC any news yet?

    @Muchulu1 Was definitely a nice chilled weekend. Got a few jobs done too though so felt productive also. I really hope the bra thing changes after giving birth. The main issue is that the skin on my upper belly is just so sensitive having any type of material on it is uncomfortable. So also like to have my belly hanging out also. Then have to suck it up when we have company or i have to go out. Lol! Oh the joys of pregnancy!
    @hopefull29 Sorry to hear you had a bad night! I know I'm going to find those times really hard to. When I was looking after my niece and she was cracking it because she was sick I was almost in tears also. I found it very distressing not being able to do anything. Thankfully she was a bit older and I could give her some panadol which after 30 mins of being inconsolable, she came good and was back to her happy self. With a brand new little bubba it would be so much harder, given you dont have many options.

    I do remember in the antenatal classes them talking about specific nights that were likely to be very hard cause it is around those times that the stomach grows and so bubs are feeding more often. I think there was one at 3-4 days, and another at 7 days and then may be another at 14 days. I cant really remember but I wonder if she has gone through a little growth spurt? Hopefully very temporary and she is back to being chilled very soon. Good luck with your midwife appointment and weigh in tomorrow!!
    @SurferGalGC Goodluck with your stretch and sweep tomorrow! Hope it gets things started.

    @hopefull29 Aw isn't it awful when they can't be settled . Absolutely heartbreaking. Hopefully little miss is a lot more comfortable & content tonight & you guys are able to get some sleep.
    Great that DH is having some time off & his work is flexible about his return date. It is such a precious time. My DH wasn't able to have any time off . I didn't really give it much thought at the time but he's really missed out. He works 6 days & leaves the house before Charlie is awake so he only gets a couple of hours in the evening & Sundays. I think it's really hard for DH. Makes me a bit sad but I suppose it's the downside of having your own business...
