    @Tanej78: how r u doing mumma?
    @Minib: how is dd doing this weekend after few days of cc? How many days is she going?
    @Gelati: I don't remember. Did ds move up to the toddler room?

    This week has been hard. We thought ds evening fussiness had to do with cc only giving him one nap. He is not there yet to transit into one nap. They are also starting to put everyone down at the same time now. Such a big change in the toddler room. As requested, they were giving him 2 naps on fri after we brought it up. Still he was grumpy that evening. I wish cc can be a bit more honest telling me how his day is than telling me he has been good every time. Yesterday was another unbearable day. Ds just cried and whined non stop. Nothing could please him. I yelled at him a few times after I ran out of patience. Time out only worked for a few mins. We didn't know why....just testing the boundary? Throwing many tantrums? More molars are coming? He has two out (more or less). He isn't on the leap but all signs point to it. New skills have emerged as well. Anyway, he seems to back to a slightly happier baby today. Thanks goodness.....

    Happy new year ladies!!

    @Minib - how are you? How is dd? Is she saying many words yet? DS can only say 4 words. He's just not very interested and likes to do hand movements instead. He knows what we are talking about (generally) but doesn't seem interested in learning new words. My friend who has a son two months older than him can say about 20 words already and even can say his name when asked what his name is. So clever! Ds is more interested in running around and exploring. He likes kicking the ball around and is walking pretty well now. He's starting to get the hang of using the spoon to feed himself too. Loves pointing to things for me to tell him what it is but doesn't really copy what I say. Guess they're all different.

    @bbhope - that's no good. It's hard to look after a fussy crying baby. Would he go back down for a nap? It could be teething again. How many teeth does he have now? Ds hasn't had any new teeth since he got his first 6. I find if ds is sooky it's either tired or hungry or needs attention as he hasn't seen me all week. If I sit with him and read him some stories or play with him and give him 100% of my attention for about 15-20min he is ok for a good 15min! Lol. Then he's sooky and wants attention again. But if he's unwell or teething there's not much you can do. Ds is generally ok during the day when his sick. It's mainly at night it affects him.
    Ds is in toddler room now but they still give him 2 naps and they have a couple of cots in the toddler room. Sometimes they put him back in the nursery to sleep if he's fussing. Toddler room has 16 kids! But eventually he will transition to 1 nap a day and yeh all at the same time. I feel like he's slowly transitioning to 1 nap slowly. Like today he slept 10-1. I didn't end up giving he another nap cos he slept 12 hrs overnight but gave him bedtime at 6:30. He only ended up having 1bottle today cos I forgot to give him afternoon bottle and he didn't make it to last bottle cos he was still full from dinner and pretty much lost it. Too tired.we also had a big day - 1 yo birthday and then visitors at our place after so he really lost it.

    Hey ladies!!!
    @Tanej78 how's motherhood?
    @bbhope her sleep is all over the place this weekend. She's only doing one sleep today. Yesterday she did 2 naps but her night sleep was pushed until 8.30 pm. I think she will be transitioning to one sleep to align with cc. She goes 3 days a week. Tuesday to Friday. They actually tried to put her to sleep around 9.30 am but the room is too noisy and most other kids sleep after lunch. Day one of cc she only slept for 35 mins in total from 9 am to 3 pm. She was very tired that night. Put her to sleep around 6.30 pm. Day two she had an hour nap. Day three she had just over an hour nap. It looks like on cc days she will go to bed before 7 pm. She's too tired otherwise. Had to feed her dinner at 5.30 pm before she gets too tired. Still adjusting. She was very happy on Friday when mum had her. She was talking a lot, ate and drank a lot too. She refused food on the first two days of cc but on day 3, she finally ate lunch.
    @bbhope oh no that's hard when they are super tired and whingy. It's hard to tell what it is as it could be anything. They are the age where they are learning heaps and also developing heaps.
    @Gelati haha dd isn't saying many words at all. She could said 'yeah' 'more' other than mama and daddy. That's about it. She can't even say mummy but can say daddy. She's also not interested in learning new words. She's more interested in walking and exploring. She needs to know everything. She understands what we say but just reply in her own language. I'll.

    Oh wow clever boy. Spoon feeding. Mine doesn't do that all. In fact not pointing with one finger. She points with whole hand lol.

    Did I tell you girls my dd is walking now? She started making unassisted steps just after Xmas. She was 12.5 months old. In the last 3 weeks, she has gone from 2 steps to walking all the time. She would walk around the park, shopping centre, house, everywhere. Hard to stop her.

    She has also gone from 2 teeth to 8 teeth now in the last 5 weeks. And the gum is quite swollen for the molars now

    Oh also. Another bfn this month. And it's now day 39 and no period yet. I've tested twice so def not pregnant. Have had pms for a week now. So over this cycle. We are going overseas in a few weeks time for a short break so probably can't do ivf this month if I have another long cycle. I can only transfer 5DPO. So looks like will need to start in march. Something isn't quite right with my cycle. Might go back to acupuncture and get my cycle back on track.

    @Minib - oh yay dd is walking! They progress so fast don't they? Is she always running around now? My son can't sit still. All my mothers group babies just sit on a rug and he is moving around everywhere I'm just chasing after him the whole time. But even when he wasn't walking there would be no way he would just sit on a rug and play with things in front of him. Ds has always been an explorer and nosey one. Needs to know everything. I hope he doesn't have ADD! I think I have a bit of ADD to be honest. I could never sit in a classroom and concentrate. So boring!!
    Haha she knows yeah? That's so funny. Ds finally knows mumma. The other day he was like mumma mum mumma mum and I turned around and was like yes? And he just laughed haha. Oh no - and it begins. The constant - muuuum! Haha. Oh he also know uh oh. So funny.

    Aargh bummer for the bfn. My cycle is also wonky. 42 day cycle last month. But I knew tho cos I know exactly when I ovulate - I get stretchy cm. so when I didn't get it till quite late I was like - is my cycle really 40 this month? Never had it be so long before. This month it's back to 30-32 days I think based on CM. I will get an internal ultrasound again before I try my last frostie. We'Ve been 'not' not trying the last 2 months but nothing. Can't get it right with ovulation. But with 100% antibodies I'm not expecting it to work. Plus don't feel my body has fully recovered yet since childbirth. I'm on the way though. Feel like I still need a few more months. But I had a hard postnatal time with the insomnia.
    So if not march then April will be first cycle? Good luck! Where are you going away?

    Wow 8 teeth plus molars! That's a lot of teeth. Ds is still only at 6. I wonder where the others are?

    @Gelati: DS was just off in the last few days. No idea why. He was OK yesterdayy and today. However, night sleep is all over the place again. He would wake up and didn't want to go back to sleep. Perhaps it has to do with teething or leap. Tonight, we are going to give him a dose of panadol and see if that helps.

    DS has 10 teeth now (including two molars are still half way through). He hasn't stopped teething since 9 months! He had a break between 7 and 9 months.

    I thought it is only my DS who can't sit still! He has been hyper since he was in the womb. Even at one month old, my mom asked me why DS wouldn't lie still for milk. No way he could let us read through story book etc. What's ADD? Did you mean ADSD? I am afraid DS has this as well. I was told that there is a chance with me taking steroid during pregnancy. Same feeling. We went to the playground with another kid. He just played quietly. DS just ran around and wanted to climb, sat on the swing etc. NON STOP.

    Oh...i didn't think i read it correctly. Are you also thinking about #2 as well? I haven't really talked to DH about it but i am still not mentally ready to have another one. I feel like my life have finally started to get back to normal. Enjoying the having the sleep again (not recently, though). I want to do more exercise but just don't find any time. We have to decide one way or the other soon, though. It is costing too much to store them now.

    How many hrs of night sleep DS is having? I feel like DS is getting most of this sleep during the day instead. 10hrs max at night (if we are lucky). With daycare cutting his sleep, he doesn't sleep any longer either. Sigh..... @Minib: yeah for walking!!! Hahah....DS also doesn't walk, he runs. He hates pram and always fight when we put him in. My DS would run out the garage as soon as the garage door is open. Up and down the street with excitement! We have to watch out for it and it is like letting the dog runs wild.

    Hmmm......same your DD. My DS does't speak a word that's sensible. He will say mamama bababa but still no meaning. Instead of calling mama, he just fusses but i know what's up so i go over. So frustrating sometime when he can't talk. He only points when he wants something. LOL. However, he understands us sometime. At the moment, his favourite is "woof woof" if we ask him about the dog, although cat is also "woof woof". So funny. Ya, he is an explorer and curious george too. I think that's good.

    No worries about the spoon feeding. DD will get there. It takes practice and development in motor skill. I know CC is letting DS use the spoon since 12 months but he just didn't get the concept or aimed at the wrong place. LOL. He just started to grab the spoon few days ago and didn't want us to feed him. Most of the food end up on the floor because he would turn the spoon wrong way before getting into his mouth. We help him scooping the food etc. He actually manages to finish the meal himself with our help. We hardly do finger food at home because i pre-prepare food in the freezer.

    Hope your DD settles into the CC soon. It would have been good if DS favourite carer moved up to the toddler room with him. Now we are dropping off a screamer again.

    Sorry to hear about your BFN. Wish we could just get pregnant easily and didn't have to plan the IVF cycle. My cycle is all over place as well. Shorter and last shorter as well. Hmmm....this reminds me of doing the GTT again. I havent been good with eating. I have been craving for sweet! I'm also going away soon so will worry about this later! Good luck in March then!

    Wow 10 teeth @bbhope. He'all be able to chew through all foods very soon. Ds still can't chew very well. Just think, we all need to go through teething issues so you're just getting it out sooner rather than later. I have a feeling ds will get 6 altogether again. Lol. Not looking forward to molars. Yeh give panadol and see if that makes him feel better. We also use teething gels.

    Attention deficit disorder. I'm pretty sure I have it. I'd def be on the spectrum. Ds is just so busy doing stuff but if he finds something he loves he can concentrate on it for a bit of time. He gets frustrated easily tho and throws things when he's frustrated. You're ds sounds just like mine. Can't sit still. But he doesn't just run off. He will look back at me and make sure I'm following him or watching him. I think once he knows how to fully run I'll need to buy a leash! Haha

    Oh yeh we are thinking of number 2 now. But we won't do another ivf cycle. It would be nice for ds to have a sibling. We have one shot - one frostie left. Thinking of transfer in June. Need to get my body back into health. I'm the same so unhealthy at the moment. I'm now on a health diet. This is my 3rd week. No dessert diet. And no snacking.

    Ds generally sleeps 11-13 hrs overnight but averages 12 and then sleeps 2.5-3 hrs during the day. Yeh so quite a lot of sleep actually. Lol.

    @Gelati: Ya, l am slight AD as well. It has never affected me in school. It just means that i am slower in getting something done. However, if I really want to get something done, I can but with a lot of stress. On the other hand, I wasn't like this active when i was a kid. So a bit worried that DS is a bit more extreme. I was thinking about the leash but i think it will only end up a more agitated DS. DS tries to get free from our hands all the time on the train. It is a constant struggle commuting with him. Same here, DS just throws things when he is frustrated!

    Good. I wish my DS gets all his sleep at night. CC is keeping him up a lot more now to sorta force him into 1 nap. At home, i am still doing two because it helps me getting things done and he needs it.

    @bbhope - ds is only doing one nap at cc. It is so bad for him. Now he goes two days in a row by the end of the second day he just loses it. Today I brought him home and he was a mess. Only balled 1 hr and yesterday only napped 45min. He screamed all through his bath and was kicking and biting me. He kept trashing about. Screamed even when I was holding him and kept kicking me. I went to feed him dinner at 5:45 and he wouldn't have a bar of it. Totally lost it. I managed to give him a bottle of milk and he went to bed at 6. Straight asleep as soon as I put him down. He woke up crying at 8:30 so I gave him dinner then and straight back to bed. He was very hungry. Poor little guy. I hope he gets used to the toddler room soon. It's def not as good as the nursery.

    Def do what's right for your son. If he still needs 2 naps then just stay with that. I know my son still needs 2 naps. I feel so bad putting him into childcare. Do you think it's worth it? They are socialised etc. maybe I'm just being overprotective. I just don't think they look after them well enough. Yesterday my mum saw a cockroach crawling near their cots. Makes me a bit anxious when I think of ds being left there and no one looking after him if he's just sat there crying cos they have so many other kids.
