@Tanej78 oh that's not long to go at all!! Soo exciting!!! Have you guys prepped everything and got the nursery all ready? Aww such a wonderful time.

@bbhope oh no more antibiotics for ds? I wonder why he just won't get better? Poor little guy. Does he sleep well at night now?
Ds has been off his appetite most of the week and he only had very mild gastro and still has diarrhoea. Has your ds fully recovered yet? If he still needs antibiotics or is still not 100% it could be another reason why his appetite is off. Ds refused to eat anything other than plain crackers, banana and some berries. He still drank his milk tho so we just gave him more regular drinks to keep him hydrated and so he was getting some nutrients. We also just gave him whatever he would eat like bread dipped in homemade chicken and veggie soup, banana/stewed apple/Avocado mash. Greek yoghurt and berries, some soft cheese, crackers, and just kept trying with the food we made. Even a couple of spoonfuls was better than nothing but we wasted a lot of food. Our dog is getting fat! Lol. Today was the first day he started eating some normal food again but he's still not 100%. I actually caught it mildly over the weekend too. Not fun! But I'm on the mend today. Can't imagine how you feel being sick and having a sick bubs all the time. Surely cold and flu season should be almost over right?

Are you able to spend a week at home with ds and see if he gets better? It's hard for them to recover when they are at childcare. Once we put ds back in childcare when he wasn't that well and he got way worse that week. Have you got much time off over Christmas? Hope ds feels better over Christmas!

Yes very true @Tanej78 esp with your line of work and if you are a perfectionist! But soon you'll be able to take beautiful photos of your own Bub and make them all pretty. That'll be awesome!

Sorry ladies, i have been MIA. Too many things going on.
@Tanej78: you almost there!!! I can't imagine you are still going with photographing wedding in 3rd trimester. It must be exhausting! I am a keen photographer but have been lazy even with DS now. I thought about earning a bit pocket money by doing real estate photography when i am unemployed. However, i don't know any real estate agent to get me into this!!
@Gelati: yes, DS is on antibiotic now. It will be on a longer term. A few courses. I don't like the idea but this is specialist suggestion. We will just go with it. Then, we will have to start him on preventive puffer for his wheeze. I am also on antibiotic now. I am not super sick but just don't seem to get rid of the cough. I think if DS is on it and i am on it. Perhaps it will get rid the bug for good rather than passing back and forward. DH doesn't want to take it so i don't know...he is having the same cough. Yes, DS will be at home for 2 weeks, this should help him getting better. I am undecided if i want to schedule any playdate.........yes, with the warm weather, DS nose isn't running as much.

Have a good christmas everyone!!!!! @Tanej78: would stalk to hear your good news soon!!!!!!! so excited for you!

Hi ladies!! @Tanej78 hope you have given birth by now and recovering well. Eagerly waiting for your awesome news. What a way to end 2016 for you!

Hope everyone had a good chrissy. How was your Christmas ladies? We had a nice lunch with the family. DD is spoilt with a lot of presents. The house is so full of stuff now. I need a bigger house lol!
@bbhope how's everyone in your household? Feeling better I hope?
@Gelati how's ds? Has he got his appetite back?

We are going well here. Loving the time off as a family. We've done quite a bit of stuff with family and friends. But also just the 3 of us. We went swimming, to the museum, to the zoo, the beach. Having a dinner party tonight at our place to celebrate NYE but secretly hoping the guests would go home by 10 pm so I could go to sleep lol. I'm such a nanna!

Sorry been off ladies we've lost internet connection at our place and we have the worst mobile reception here!
@Tanej78 - how are you darl? Is dd here now? Can't wait to hear your good news!! Best end of year present everrrr!!!

@bbhope how are you and ds feeling? All better now? Hope you can come off the antibiotics soon!

@Minib aw sounds like you've had a great Christmas and holiday so far. We're good, ds's appetite has come back with a vengeance this week. 250-300ml milk per serving and two bowls of food. Either a growth spurt or making up for gastro week. Ds was spoilt rotten with Christmas presents. We had it at our place this year so was very busy organising that. How was the museum? We are going to the Melbourne museum on Monday with Some friends visiting from London. Did so much this week too, pool, beach, Collingwood animal farm, london friends over for lunch - they have a boy same age as ds. We have a wedding tonight to bring in the new year. Ds has been sleeping terribly this week. Waking 2-3 times at night and very early wake time -6:30!! Eek!!

Hope you all have a wonderful night! Xoxoxox
