Default How long after bloody show did you go into labour?

3rd pregnancy. 36 weeks today, last night had some lower back pain with period cramping went to loo and had small show with pink tinge, took some panadaol and went to bed a bit of restless night with contractions on and off. With my first I lost it morning of going into labour with second lost it when in active labour with all 3 I've lost bits of plug since 30ish weeks however none with the blood stain. My previous labours have been fast and wham started and then Bub was born within a few hours. Does this sound like pre labour? We are on holidays and either hospital is about an hour either way so I called one last night and the middie said can have show even a week before going into active labour. Thoughts? Obviously I'm having a restful day today and Bub is moving normally.

Sounds like your cervix could be getting ready for labour, but when labour will happen is impossible to tell. I never had a bloody show until in active labour, but I know I lost bits of my plug for weeks before anything happened. If you've had multiple fast births in the past I can understand why you feel quite nervy, I had 3 very fast labours too.

Around 24 hours after my bloody show I was in hospital having bub. I had my regular plug loss ongoing for around 3-4 weeks prior.

If it was pink I wouldn't say that's a bloody show.

My first I was already in labour before I had my show.

My second I had a show then immediately went into labour.
