    Default Calculating my fertility days

    Hi mummas
Its been a while since i have posted.

Im now 38 and we had our hawaii trip and we got married in october. We also achieved with getting pregnant but sadly miscarried at 9 weeks (the weekend of my hens/Bridal shower and 4 weeks before our wedding). My dress was at the dressmakers being altered to fit my growing tummy but had to get it taken back in.
Im doing ok but obviously still a little bit raw.

My aunty is a midwife and she advised us to wait 2 periods before we start trying again which we did but we didnt succeed this month.

So we are trying again but need to get my calculations right. My first 2 periods were like clock work with no spotting days before my period then my 3rd period i had a pinkish discharge for 2 days before my periods really started. What i want to know is do i go by the day i had the pinkish discharge or do i go by the first day my period really started.

I will admit i have had a bit of stress (trying to get my job permanently and trying to work out how my husband i will buy a house to live in).

Also Other questions i have is

I have been reading that because we have a history of miscarriage sex can be risky in the first trimester. Is this true? Because i dont want my husband feeling neglected.

And i have been doing personal training sessions (before the wedding 3 mornings a week but now only 2 days a week. Are situps dangerous for my pregnancy) what excercises should i avoid and how high should i allow my heart rate go to?

I just want to get back to being pregnant.

    Thanks in advance

Sorry to hear about your loss. Cycle day 1 is usually counted as established flow before lunchtime so I wouldn't count the first few days. Best of luck

Thank you @bel2466. The discharge was first thing in the morning.

Yes but because it's not established flow it doesn't count :-)

I think unless you have a specific diagnosed medical reason why you shouldn't, sex during pregnancy is generally fine. The overwhelming cause of most (not all) miscarriages is genetic defects in the embryo of which nothing could have prevented it. Talk to your health professional about exercise, the most important factor is not overheating

My FS told me day 1 is full on bleeding (not spotting/discharge) before 5pm. If you start spotting before 5pm but it hasn't progressed to flowing by 5pm day 1 is the following day. Hope that makes sense.

As for the exercise & sex I'd talk to your GP. I've only ever heard of sex not being ok if there was a diagnosed medical issue.
