If you're still interested and if it's not too late, David Lau at Castle Hill is great. Whilst it never helped me with my BFP he treats a lot of women doing IVF and I'm pretty sure his fees were reasonable, sorry I can't remember though, but pretty sure it was less than $100.

Anyway, thought I'd share. Good luck with your next cycle

Just read this thread, we are off to our first Accupunture session tomorrow. We start iui next month and every month up to June when we prep for ivf. I'm not a relaxed person like mysticfalls so hopefully it helps me relax. I have read some scientific results of tests done were it has increased sperm count by 20%. So we are also hoping it helps there too. Will let everyone know how we go. Will be teaming it with Chinese herbs too.

What does BFP mean and FET mean?

    Thanks

BFP means Big Fat Positive and FET means Frozen Embryo Transfer.

    Best wishes @kylez83

I did a FET last month which resulted in a negative.

This month I decided to try Acupuncture prior to our FET and it was confirmed on Thursday we are pregnant. If anything it helps relax me.

I have done acupuncture since starting IVF in August. My first cycle was cancelled and the cycle which just finished was a BFN. So not sure if acupuncture had helped at all for me, however I do find it incredibly relaxing through the stress of doing IVF plus work and all the day to day cr*p.

Not cheap though, I think I've spent about a grand so far which isn't going to be sustainable long term if we need to do a lot of cycles.

For what it's worth I've alway done accupunture at a wonderful chinese clinic immediately after transfer. The first 3 transfers i got a bfp each time (then miscarried), the 4th transfer I didn't do accupture and it was a negative, 5th transfer I did accupunture and I fell pregnant with my second child. Could be a cooincidence but it can't hurt.
