Default 6 year old with bad B.O :(

So today I noticed the smell of BO in the car on the way home from school. Then when I helped lift my 6 year old daughter out of the car I got a really strong waft of it. When I took her school shirt off and smelt it i was shocked - it reeked like adult BO. She's only 6 for goodness sake, surely this couldn't be normal?? I'm quite concerned, has anyone else experienced this?

    Some people stink. Lol.
No but really. There is a young girl I know (11) who has extremely bad BO. no reason for it. She has been checked at the doctor as she is seriously embarrassed about it of course but nothing. She also has a lot of excess body hair.
Maybe take your daughter to the doctor?
Or really just keep an eye on her, maybe she was just around d someone with really bad really strong BO?

Yes my cousin had this from 4. My aunt eradicated dairy from her diet and the BO disappeared.

Our almost 11 year old, started at around 8.
Started getting her to shower every day.
    She wears deodorant now too

Sounds pretty normal especially if she had been hot and sweaty. Just make sure she showers every day and try a gentle organic deodorant

My daughter has had this since around 3-4 years old. Can be really bad on warm days or if she has been really active that day.

Have been to Dr and had blood test, etc to rule out any thyroid issues.

I use a completely natural deodorant paste under her arms if I know it is going to be a warm day.

When doing a quick Google search this came up a couple of times (reducing/quiting dairy) so I think I'll try this, thanks!

Thanks everyone for talking me down a bit! I'll try a few different things and if they don't work I'll take her to the GP.
