About $500 on DD including $250 trampoline and $100 worth of clothes I've had on layby for weeks. Other things I've just grabbed here & there over the last few months.

$50 each on family members - two sets of parents, one step parent, three sisters, one brother, one niece, three nephews.

    Nothing really on each other!

DH & I don't do presents to each other.

DS and DD get about $200 each - this year DS got a little bit more as he needed an ipad for school so his is a combined birthday and christmas.

    $100 on my mum
    $100 on my dad
    $70 MIL
    $70 FIL
    $60 BIL
    $60 SIL
    $50 nephews x 2

We did buy for all the extended family, but when it got to about 20 nieces and nephews, we pulled the plug. It all got to be so much work and such an expense. Now I spend on the grandchildren.. I don't have a budget, I use laybys, and I go crazy at the Big W toy sales in June. I usually get a small present for hubby, new pjs or something, I spend my own money on me through the year so I don't need anything for Christmas. marie.

    Ours is pretty ridiculous.

    Me: $200
    Hubby: $200
    Daughter: $300

    My family:
    Kris Kringle x 2 = $200 each
My parents from my daughter $30-40
    Nieces and nephews x 3: $100 each

    Hubby's family:
    Mum, dad, sister $100 each

Best friend, her hubby and 2 kids: $100 each

Other friends kids x2: $15 each

    Total of just over $2k

Default How much do you spend at Xmas?

We are not big spenders. It varies a bit year to year. I've hardly bought anything yet (only know what our kids are getting)

DS: $150 (Lego. So pricey :0)
    DD: $100 ish
DH : we have max spend of $30 on each other
    Mum: $20
    Fil: $20
    Mil: $20
    Bil: $20
    Sister: $20
    Brother: $20
    God kids $20 each (there's 2)

Our nieces and nephew are 14, 18 and 20 so we've agreed no more gifts.

This is by far our biggest year expense wise (bought a trampoline for the kids!) but even so I find it so easy to go overboard when I find things I know they'll love!

We don't buy for the adults in the family, only kids... So $25 each for my niece's ($50 total) and about $100 on my daughter. DP and I treat ourselves to a nice day out and meal over Xmas break, so no gift as such
    $150 in total.

We spent just under 2k all up- me and H, 3 kids, mil, fil, bil, sil, niece, aunt, 8 godparents, and a few gifts overseas.

ETA: that includes Dss' birthday gift.
