    Washed potatoes hand sliced and I mix garlic and chives through my cream and put diced bacon between the layers so it goes;
    Potatoes
    Bacon
    Cream mix
This is repeated about 3 times then I cover in foil to cook until the last 20 mins then foil comes off cheese goes on

Peeled white potatoes and peeled sweet potatoes - hand sliced, thickened cream with powdered chicken stock and some garlic, diced rindless bacon, grated mozzarella.

    ETA same method as @loodle

Seriously, try the French onion soup mixed in. You'll change your mind.

I do the spring vegetable soup mix packet. I'll have to try the French onion one in it.

I don't think I've ever tried potato bake made with a powder soup mix?
The one I made for dinner tonight was yum and turned out it had enough cream but could have used a bit of salt and pepper in the cream I think and maybe some chives next time

Oh you won't regret this recipe!

    Bacon diced 100gms
Onion diced or chopped the size depends on how much you like onion. When making for family one small when making for solo enjoyment a big one!

Put in microwave proof dish with a knob of butter. Microwave on 80% for 2 mins. Make sure it's covered. I have a micro + oven proof dish.

Then dice two large potatoes to 1.5cm cubes add them to dish. Stir.

Get one tub of Philadelphia cream for cooking. Put that in. Add milk to that empty tub and put in stir.

    Salt and pepper to taste.

Put in microwave covered with paper towel for 20mins. Stir.

Put in oven for 20min uncovered at 180 Celsius. Stir

Return for another 20mins you can add cheese at this stage if you wish. We don't like it so we omit it.

If it's thickened take out and enjoy!!!!

Try lidells lactose free this may help. Their cheese is good too! Same with the yogurts,

    Or

Try A2 milk and cream. It solved our families issue.

Just a note to try to help.
