Thanks for asking! This has been such a huge year for us

    Negatives:
    - my mental health has plummeted severely this year
    - I had a terrible mania episode this week and made a big mistake that impacted our family hugely. Thankfully we've been able to fix and recover from it
    - DP's mental health is fairly poor too and I feel like the next few months will be tough for him with some big changes happening
    - dealing with the attitude of a 4.5yr old and the tantrums of a 2.5yr old is super taxing

    Positives:
    - it's almost Christmas!!!!!!!! My planning is awesome and I think I'm going to pull off a great, stress free day
    - DD1 is really into the idea of giving this Christmas and making me very proud
    - when they're not taxing my girls are so bloody cute and the best of friends
    - I am finally seeing a doctor on Monday morning to set up a mental health plan. About 15 years late but finally happening.
    - I feel really confident that next year is going to be incredible and the first year of our new life.

Positives: all Xmas shopping is done and I am happy not be travelling anywhere this Christmas.

Negatives: anxiety is eating me alive. I am bored at home but want to go back to work but also don't want to put dd into care because I can't let go. I don't want to go back to my career and want to study but can't find motivation to do so. No win situation for me atm.

Crap with mum. Crap at work. Crap everywhere. It's all so wonderful. Today I have achieved a total of 0 hours sleep so far since I got home from work this morning. Working tonight too so not sure how I will make it through the night.

Crap. Just realised I forgot to pay a Centrelink bill. I think I've been sent to the collectors for it. Bugger, bugger, bugger.

I'm still stuck on a psych ward for who knows how much longer though information that was given to DHS is that I'm not expected to be home for Christmas. One of the patients here scares me - he lit 3 fires a few nights ago and is out of the high security rooms today. I am apparently changing AD and going through withdrawals too. My best buddy in here was discharged today and I'm missing him like crazy.

Sending huge hugs to everyone who needs them xx

    Positives -
DS speech has been coming along wonderfully since seeing his speech pathologist, im so proud of him

I have admitted I need help with my mental health and am now seeing a psychologist, big positive is she is a wonderful lady and I get along with her so well

we had our first family holiday

I've started doing yoga (only at home.. walrus trying to stretch with my flexibility)

moved into a much better house, feels more like home

been getting along with my mum so much - it's like the years of not talking never happened

    got engaged

Starting to see DS personality come out and realising what a little boy he is lol

    Made 1 year smoke free

    Negatives -
DS has tested me a lot, taken me too long trying to work out how to deal with him

I had to hit rock bottom to realise I needed help

my father and I are barely speaking and I miss him so much

drifted away from my best friend - she did bring it on herself with things she has said

had to rehome one of my cats

waiting for my dog groomer to come back from holidays because my poor dog is struggling with the heat. She needs a shave! I have had no time to give her a really good brush every other day and she's gotten a few mats - a couple of horrible ones behind her ears! My poor bubba, I feel terrible!

In the grand scheme of things my negatives seem like nothing. It's a good way to think about the positives
So many of you are in my thoughts - bring on 2017 xx

They might just take money automatically. They started taking $30 fortnight from my FTB after my tax was done.

    Positives:
    We're all reasonably healthy
We're happy with each other for the most part
I have 9 days of work left
A family holiday to look forward to in the new year
It's harvest - and the boys have something to harvest
Spending time with my DS at this age is a pleasure
I'm not broke leading up to Xmas

    Negatives
I'm exhausted. DH is exhausted. Everyone is exhausted
I miss our dog and had to explain to DS again tonight why Rocco isn't coming home
DS seems to prefer everyone to me
I have a tough board member to deal with
    I'm not losing weight
    I'm smoking again
Both those things make TTC further away and I don't have the energy or willpower to do anything about either of them right now
I've realised that I've not invited a single friend to visit since we moved to the farm 8 months ago and when I thought about it, I'm not sure I have anyone to invite to visit.
I'm feeling low and spent. Not depressed just flat.

Just have to make it through until Xmas
