Edit: Never mind. I think I misunderstood something.

I don't really see the point in two middle names. You either don't use it at all, or only use it when filling out forms. I fill out forms constantly for work purposes, and wish I didn't even have a middle name...because it's only used on forms, and I get sick of writing it.
I'm with you OP, if my DH had suggested two middle names I wouldn't have been happy with the idea (we went with no middle names).

My DD has two middle names, as does my husband. The second one is a family name which has been handed down. They only ever use it on forms so it's neither here nor there!

My DS's 2 middle name are special family names. As is his first name.

Is there a totally different name you can both agree on?

My sister and I both have two middle names.
My DS also has two middle names.
I like it and if we're lucky enough to have another one, they will also have two names. It's something I'm passing down to my kids in the name department since they have DH's last name and I kept my last name when we got married

Our DD has 2 middle names as does DH. They are quite special as her 1st is her great grandmothers name and her 2nd is a combination of my middle name and my mothers 1st name. So she has 3 generations of strong women in her name. We love it 😊

I always knew I would only give my own children just the one middle name.

This. I have 2 middle names and a longish first name then I married a guy with a long Greek surname.

So first name 7 letters both middle names 5 surname 11. It's far to much!!!

I only use my second middle name when I absolutely have to otherwise I just use the first one. It doesn't fit on forms.
