    Default Could I be pregnant?

I'm probably being silly but need reassurance or maybe some home truths.

I've been on the microlut (which I have just found out is only a mini pill) and I haven't been taking it at night before bed anywhere between 8pm and midnight. So last Thursday I was going to stay at partners so took the pill before I left around 3pm, that night we DTD. The next day Friday night I was called into work and forgot to take the pill.
The Thursday would have been day 17 of 28 day cycle.

Could I be pregnant? I thought nothing of it until this morning as I dreamt last night that I was pregnant, and that kind of freaked me a bit.

You could be as I'm pretty sure you need to take microlut at the same time everyday for it to be effective. I used to have to set my alarm to remember!

I'm surprised your doctor didn't tell you as mine drilled it into me and said anything over an hour difference could render it ineffective and to use alternative contraception for 7 days if I missed the time window. She put the fear of god into me lol.

No said nothing. Also I'm not sure why he subscribed a mini pill?

Yeah - mini pill is definitely same time every day.

So you could be. If you test on the weekend it should give you an answer. Maybe go back to the dr for a different contraceptive as well.

Yes I have already made an appointment for the doctor to get a full pill.

I will admit I'm pretty hopeless with knowing when I'm fertile etc. so is day 17 a danger day? Would it matter that I missed a pill the day AFTER we DTD?

Any suggestions on which test/s are the best? And can tell the soonest?
It's been 13 years since I've needed to buy a HPT.
