Default Normal behavior for a 12 month old??

Hello all, recently my 12 old has been getting very angry when he is told no and prevented from doing things he wants to do. He has begun to bang his head on the floor or anything he can find, sometimes hard enough to make him cry. Wondering whether this is normal behavior or whether I should be worried??? He is developing beautifully in all areas. Not sure where he gets this angry streak from.

Yep completely normal, both of mine have been early tantrummers. We reinforce their feelings eg - I understand yoh are mad/frustrated that you can't do x but Mummy is keeping you safe. And I just sit there until they stop.
Luckily at this age the tantrum is reasonably short lived.

I was just coming on to say this.
Distraction is key at this age.
