Stupid bubhub.. I posted a reply to your post but it didn't take.......
@MysticFalls - no worries hun, I thought I'd put it out there anyway cos I am a big believer in the wrong protocol frying eggs, esp at final maturation when meiosis occurs.

I'm interested in this study you found.. Do they do a trigger before IUI and then another after IUI? That's very interesting.. Do you have the link for this study?

From this webpage, which I found a very interesting read:

    http://haveababy.com/fertility-infor...st-mature-eggs

"While age is the main determinant of what percentage of eggs are aneuploid, the protocol used for ovarian stimulation as well as the timing of the hCG “trigger” can also influence the incidence of chromosomal abnormalities. When the hCG trigger is administered too early or too late, the egg might not be developmentally positioned to undergo orderly meiosis and either 1) be unable to expel half its chromosomes as a PB-1 and thus remain an M-I egg, or 2) the PB-1 may be expelled, but could contain an irregular number of chromosomes. In the latter case, the egg would have a visible PB-1 and would thus be labeled as a “mature” (MII) egg, though it would be aneuploid and “incompetent.”"

Can't you do it when you're home or do you plan to be in the mall until tonight??

Do you have them with you and can you quickly go to the loo to do one or do you have to lie down for it?

I say just do one immediately when you get home and another tonight.. But if you're going to be in the mall all day, then hmm, you might have to ask the clinic if that's ok...?

I had to do one in my lunch break every day for 12 weeks. I'd rush off to the loo with my little cooler bag every day. Tons of fun!

Do they have to be refrigerated? Does door number 2 hurt? I've never had to pack items into door 2... It's mostly for waste removal...

Lollololol! Yes they have to be refrigerated as they are designed to melt at body temp. The advantage of door #2 is you don't have to lie down for 30 min after. It doesn't hurt at all & much less messy than door #1. I was on 6 a day at one point so had to do one each way morning & night. So annoying but worth it for the end result.
