Default 27 y.o, Tubal factor and IVF 😯

    Morning Everyone,

Im looking for some info, opinions and success stories with IVF if anyone has any please 😊 or IVF buddies, it is hard keeping your fertility journey to yourself

Im 27 with slighly elevated AMH and diagnosed tubal factor and DH is 31 and perfect in every way πŸ’• we had been trying for a year before we saw a Dr who did tests that showed a mild possibility of PCOS due to elevated AMH, saw a specialist who commenced clomid and after 1 cycle they discovered a hydrosalpinx on my left tube so i was referred for a lap and dye. Lap and dye showed both tubes were damaged and the surgeon said they would have to remove them. So had my final lap and bilateral salpingectomy which left me itchy all over and emotional (hard to explain how it feels not having tubes you couldnt feel but knew you needed 😒 but now feel like you are missing) and now we are waiting to see our fertility Dr to start the IVF process. Kind of feels like everything is crashing together at once, I'm so excited to start the next step of our journey but absolutely terrified at the same time. Has anyone been diagnosed with tubal factor and done IVF? Any success stories to share? Ive watched the dvd and read everything i can but would love to hear from any girls out there who have been through similar 😊

I experienced a miscarriage and an ectopic pregnancy that resulted in me losing a tube. After checking my remaining tube and discovering it was blocked, I proceeded to IVF. ( I also had a low amh). I did three cycles of IVF before falling pregnant with my DD who is now almost 4. When she was 15 months I went to have a hysterosalpingram to check the patency of my remaining tube, in case it had unblocked. I wanted to do this before deciding whether we try to conceive naturally or go straight to IVF for trying for our second baby. Amazingly, the tube was completely clear! I was still breastfeeding, but stopped at 16 months to give us our best chance to conceive naturally. Absolutely incredibly, I conceived naturally the next cycle, after only one 'go'!!! My DD2 is now 20 months!

Three. 2 fresh and one frozen. The second fresh cycle workedπŸ˜„. I only got 2 eggs out of that cycle, which was really upsetting, but they both fertilised so we transferred both.
