    Default Wwyd: cockroach

You are packing the kids daycare bags for the week ahead. When packing the bedding (after pulling it from the washing basket), you see that one of the items has a cockroach in it. There's no evidence that the cockroach had crawled over the other bedding items (all in the same washing pile though).

What do you do? What do you think I did?
    1) forget it - pack the bedding as nothing had happened.
    2) rewash all the bedding
    3) rewash only the item that you saw the cockroach on.
    4) other

    1) I would assume the cockroach got on the washing from outside. I'd flick it out the door & continue packing the bags!

    1. Life is too short to rewash. I assume that most items that make their way into my home (including food) have come into contact with flies / cockroaches / mice / something else . Noone is dead yet.

I'm guessing you disinfected the lot in an extra concentrated bleach solution and boiled for two hours or burnt the lot and replaced with brand new.

    1. I'd grab the roach with a tissue, chuck it in the bin and move on with my life!

No 1 here too. I def wouldn't rewash. If it was a mouse or rat, yes...but not a cockroach.

Either 1 or 3 depending on my timeframe.

As for what you did - it depends. Did the cockroach have shoes on indoors?
