I had just finished my two year course and got offered a great paying job. I was hoping to finish my bachelor and work, but work was not flexible - I needed a mininum of 2 days per week to finish the bachelor in one year but they would only give me 1 day off - which means my course would be over 2 years and disjointed.
I tried doing the 1 day per week and 4 days work but quickly fell behind in uni, and was so tired and stressed - so decided to just go 3 days now at uni and finish it in 1 year.
I will miss having money, but it was not a job that I could see progression or flexibility with, and I figured if they were so unflexible with me going to uni, imagine how I would go getting to the doctors as my pregnancy grew.
