@Heyside Just logged on to read about your bfn.

It's always a kick in the guts and even though you are being amazingly calm and finding the positives - I'm sorry honey. ❤️

Hi Minniemin - Thank you for asking
    - I'm ok. I guess I'm at a little cross road in that I don't know what to do....or I do and I'm just dragging my heels....

I have a frostie left - it wasn't able to be PGD'd and as such don't know if it's ok or abnormal.
It's grade C. Im clicking over to 41 in a few weeks. I also have booked a trip to Cyprus / Greece for DE.

I have mixed emotions with frostie because of above reasons and feel like I'm just setting myself up for another ill fated roller coaster and paying for it! But then I think - what if this is my miracle? Then I think - really? The chances are so slim, because it couldn't be tested so it's not great quality - it could be just another Abnormal one (Ive had plenty and m/c a year ago on an abnormal one) the whole reason for going DE.

If it was PGD normal I'd definitely put it back. It's so bloody expensive too as I'm with Monash Melb and it's more than $3k to transfer.

I guess I have put a lot of faith in the upcoming DE. But a part of me is like... just get frostie put back.

    How are you going hon

Blondeinbrisvegas many thanks for taking the time to write that out. Some we have taken, some not. I will try to take them all religiously for the next few months.

    - @Phia Sounds like you're deciding on whether to transfer Frostie or just go straight onto your DE Cycle Luv???

The cost doesn't help either does it?? Bloody Nora!!!!

I guess in one way, by transferring Frostie, it will give resolution to you one way or another Luv and there is the chance, however slim, that it could work If not, then you have your Plan B ready to go too

Or, Frostie just waits there and you go do your DE Cycle, get your BFFP and you decide then what to do afterwards (transfer or not??). If you could handle that scenario then you could do things that way as well

Depends how you want to go about things Luv.

No problem Luv. You can only give them a try and see what happens . Obviously they're not going to make eggs/sperm that are chromosomally frucked healthy again, but they might help with the mitochondria of both I believe which in turn, can only help any healthy embryo's down the track with energy production to both keep on dividing in the dish and with implantation IMO.

I remember Wazza (Warren De Ambrosis..) also giving me some literature about Inositol as well to read up about and saying I could take that too if I wanted although not mandatory hence not being on his Supp's List. Just an extra if I wanted to take it. Only just remembered that this morning.

Anyhoo..I also wanted to ask about what Protocols/FSH you've also tried in your past Cycles Luv?? No doubt you've tried a variety of things especially stuff like Luveris/Menopur or HGH to help with egg quality???

If by chance you haven't, those three things are worth having a discussion about with your FS Luv as they are used in combination (usually..although Menopur can be used on it's own as a stand alone FSH) with Gonal-F or Puregon. Luveris was going to be added in for me on Day 8 of stimming if I needed it (which I didn't as my LH levels were fine) and HGH I used in Cycle 4 to try (but not Cycle 5) which were added in on Day 2 of stimming (3mg injections daily from Day 2 of stims until day of Trigger).

No doubt the same applies to the Protocols you've tried...Long down regs etc too??

Thought I'd add that in there for you just in case you haven't already tried it. Please disregard if you already have!!!

@infinity888 - Thanks hun. That's understandable hun that you would rather your situation be a sch than a lost twin. Its good that you are researching I think it helps us to process everything x
@Wild Rose - Yes its awful to watch life pass us by isnt it time to start enjoying it for once. Mind you I am already worrying how I will answer questions about further babies while I am over there, only my mum and dad know about iur ivf struggles, we may open up to mil while over there. Also what if I am successful before we go, how will it hide it, oh my God I need to get out of my head, that shoukd be the least of my worries haha!!
@BlondeinBrisvegas - Yes it sh!tty hun you are so right but I just hate the fact I have become so immune to all this now. Yes I think I will assess everything at each stage as we move forward and see how I feel. Yes progesterone was good in the end I know Warren will be happy with that I think my problems in the past have been that it stays very high on all Warren's high support throughout the tww but then suddenly drops off at the end for some unknown reason but is always sbove 30 so maybe I should stop worrying about that.
@Phia - Sounds like you have a lot to consider hun. If it was me I would definitely consider putting my last frostie back first and you begin planning a cyprus/greece cycle as a back up, I think it would just give me closure before moving on but thats just my personal opinion. Obviously there is the money to consider too though its so hard, hope you come to a conclusion you are happy with xx

@Phia its a tough decision. Tbh i would look at odds vs money. I know its also an emotional decision. But for 3000 you have a 10% chance with frostie? Im guessing as an eg. With de for say 4000 more you have an 80 to 90% chance especially if you include pgd. With possibly 8 good quality frosties if you ever need them left over. So for around $7 you get at least 5 good det chances with 80% chance of pregnancy each time or x1 frostie if it survives the thaw a 10% chance? Anyway food for thought lovely. Frostie will still be there as plan b if ever needed. Sorry if i sounded blunt hun i didnt mean too. Of course its a really tough one. If there is anything i can help with please feel free to pm me.

    @Phia Yep, that's a crossroad alright.
It sucks that a lot of the decision comes down to costs involved, it just infuriates me!
Obviously your chances are higher with DE, but are you willing to let go of that little frostie? Can you afford the 3k, knowing its a gamble?
If you went ahead with Greece, would you keep looking back and wondering 'what if'?
For me, the decision to move to DE came after 1 miscarriage, 1 chem and 3 subsequent failed rounds of IVF. I was sick, tired, bloated and heartbroken and I just needed to give myself better odds. I had no frosties and I was ready.

It's a tough decision for you lovely
Maybe we should all set up a GoFundMe campaign and start our own ivf clinic.
With cost price treatments and no ar$ehole FS laughing all the way to the bank and profiting in misery
