After day 5 of stimming Estrogen is only 100.

my FS said keep going with current dose and another BT on wednesday. I wonder why he didnt up it today. But oh well lets go with the flow.

It will be day 6 of stimming tonight. And after looking at doctor google, hubby and I have settled on a level that we have to get to before doing a cycle and if we will cancel.

Anytips for if we do cancel? Do we get some money back???

If we do cancel it will be all a go go for Donor Eggs. Have already booked an appointment with dr Salisbury...wazza was solidly booked!

@mystic falls I cancelled a cycle as I had 2 follies. Little did I know that was fairly normal for me..benefits of hindsight - any way I converted to iui which cost is $500 out of pocket in the end. So I just triggered like a normal ivf cycle and then did iui. So you can do that instead of fully cancelling. Just a thought.
And yeah I'm hearing ya @Maxwellsmum

Hello lovelies. I've been in the wars this weekend too, my back has been getting worse and worse and I was couch and bed bound yesterday. Got an appointment with my Osteo this morning who says it's a pinched nerve and feeling slightly better now.
So annoyed that I can't go to the gym.... like all of you I am feeling fat and bloated. I'm the heaviest I have ever been in my life and it is really depressing me. It will all be worth it if I get a baby out of this of course, but at the moment I hate looking in the mirror.

I have my first blood test on Friday to start tracking ovulation, but I know I ovulate late, usually around day 20, so not sure if I'll make it to,transfer this side of Christmas after all.

They haven't done a scan yet to check how many follicles you have by the sounds of it Luv??? When will you be having that done??

My understanding has always been this...that E2 levels are 500-1000 per egg. As @Tinachris said, IUI might be a option for you if you find you aren't responding very well to the FSH this Cycle (what dose has your FS got you on??? I think I remember you saying you have low AMH is that right??)..If you're on a fairly low dose (like 300-ish or so), I would've expected it to be increased???

Perhaps you can ask your FS what levels they expect to see per follicle/egg present so you can have an idea what to expect. It might help you and your DH when making your decisions about whether to cancel/go to EPU or have a go at IUI etc

    Hi all,

i know this is not necessarily an over 40's thing but someone on another thread was asking and Im not sure.

She is taking syneral and hasn't got to the stim part yet. But her estrogen is 325 and she has had a scan showing 4 follicles. She wants to know if this is bad.

Please correct me if Im wrong, but isn't syneral supposed to suppress your estrogen and bring it close to zero and also stop follicle making??? Then your supposed to stim whilst sniffing to make follicles and thats when your estrogen is supposed to rise again??

thanks in advance. I dont want to give her the wrong advice.

Hi @MysticFalls, when I was on Synarel for a HRT FET they didn't expect any big follicles, but still would see a few small antral follicles. My clinic would like the Day 2 oestrogen to be less than 250. I've never done a downreg cycle though.
