Quick question girls which blood test do I ask for to check in 7 days time if I have ovulated will it be a progesterone check which I presume cant be done if I am on progesterone support. Just worrying now if I am actually going to ovulate or not as I did 3 ovulation induction cycles a few years ago with no ovulation. I am sure Warren has it covered more than my old fs did, I have more faith I should say.

LH they need to check the Leutanising hormone. Blooming pred txt. You can also check by using ovulation sticks

Isn't that to test if its rising before ovulation, with my pcos in the past my lh was constantly high so they couldn't test it in advance of ovulation but they still tested after to see if I had actually ovulated and it was 7 days after I should have ovulated so I presumed they were looking for a progesterone rise? Will have to ask tomorrow I am confused.

Yes I triggered last night @infinity888 so I should ovulate as I do in my ivf cycles but since I have triggered in the past 3 times and still not ovulated it worries me. As I say though I definitely have more faith in Wazza I think my last fs made a lot of guesses in my cycle. I am just over thinking things due to my history.

Congrats @Minniemin on your great HCG!

Also congrats to @infinity888 on yours! Yes, that doubling time is EXCELLENT and anything over 30 is fine for progesterone. If you're worried you can do another pessary but my clinic told me that pessaries don't show in your BT results - they are localised to where they are needed and not in the blood******? Either way mine dipped to 14 at one point and I just whacked some extra pessaries in and all good

@Spazzyp, yes, we will still be announcing at Christmas time. We are not telling DH's parents tonight because I DON'T WANT TO! They have never been supportive before, and this is our special time. Screw them!!!

So happy. Yippee. P4 is only 33 though so i may need to increase my progesterone a little? Im on 2nd daily injections + x3 pessaries a day.

My doubling time is 1.5 days for hcg i think thats good? @BlondeinBrisvegas ?
Excellent doubling times Luv!! Yippee!! 😊

33 is acceptable but most FS like to see it a lot higher than that so I'd be increasing the Progesterone a bit more personally if it were me for another few weeks at least & keeping an eye on the levelsxoxo

My understanding is that they usually check LH, FSH and P4 when checking for ovulation..the lead up to and afterwards
