Thanks @BIB - just good to connect and feel like I'm heading towards something with guidance from another professional - not just relying on my FS.

Hi ladies, I'm heaps behind and have probably missed so much. My apologies.

Had my first ever ambulance ride on Sunday, off to the big city hospital with BP at 180/110. I was NOT feeling well. A squillion blood tests later and still none the wiser they started banging on about clots in the lungs at which point I hit the roof, told them to stop faffing around and just prescribe me a higher dose of BP meds. I got shorter and shorter on patience until it got to 11.30am yesterday, when I flipped out proper. Our 12 week scan was booked for 12pm and the ******** had stolen all my forms for it! So I did a full on Blossom flip-out, got the forms back and self discharged against Doctors orders.

The scan went well - bubs has made up for the 2 days behind he/she was at the start and is now measuring on date. No concerns about Downs or anything so we are incredibly grateful for that, and HB at 161. He/she was sommersaulting and sucking his thumb and rolling all over the place. I am in awe that this is actually happening inside me!

Arrived home to a message from the hospital - all my BT's came back just fine and they have increased my meds. What a freaking drama!

Out all day today and then the bl00dy Mother-In-Law is visiting tonight. Traditionally we do not get along and traditionally I just grin and bare her BS. Will look forward to joining you tomorrow to let you know how THAT turns out!!!

At best there's a *possible* correllation but I wouldn't go so far as to say a causation IMO.
I'm sure if you look hard enough you'd find another article saying "Red wine can aid IVF"

@Spazzyp - That sounds like a plan hun we did two FET's while we waited for Wazza and it kind of concluded everything for us st the old clinic and if it had worked during that time we would have been very happy.
@Phia - Its good to get a different view on things hun you sound very happy with the guidance you have sought.
@Blossom74 - Oh my goodness hun you have been through it this weekend. How frustrating so glad you kicked up a fuss and got to your appointment sounds like they were complicating things. Hope the increased blood pressure meds do the trick hun. Fantastic result with your scan you are doing a great job growing your bub well done mumma. Good luck with your MIL x

Thanks for info and opinions on drinking over Christmas girls. Thinking I may buy a bottle but see how I feel on the day. Not sure what to do, I have stopped my life so much over the last four years and not even drunk in between cycles. My last ivf cycle was the first time I had had a drink in well over a year, I had a couple of glasses with a close friend after epu, it was so depressing to go into a bottle shop and no longer even know what wine I drink its been so long. Wazza would definitely say to have a drink I guess he usually does as long as its not hooch which I guess he means beer? I am already dreading Christmas in a gluten free dairy free diet oh my God what has my life come too lol!!!
