And @BlondeinBrisvegas I took yr advice and followed the Wazza Valium protocol so I was off my chops for the morning. Very relaxing!
How is everybody going? It's been very quiet on here, hope you are all doing well xxx

@skeeter - sad to hear your story but glad u have things sorted out now after having a D & c to clear things out and reduce the chance of infection. I had a missed miscarriage in July..@ 8 weeks ... Though doesn't compare to your later term.. I had to have a d n c as baby was got coming out by itself. Fast forward 5 months.. And I am just pregnant (hcg 469 at 14 days post transfer). It is hard to get back on the ivf train.. But take time out.. You will know when you are ready and good luck for your frosties!

Good luck to the other ladies in here!

Me: 12dp5dt using DE hcg 216, 14dp5dt hcg 469 .. But progesterone too low only 11 &15.. So now on 4 x 400mg progesterone pessaries.. 2 x 100mg endometrin pessaries plus 3 x 2 x 100mg provera tabs. Waz likes progesterone over 30. Hope this gets me over the line. Another bt on Monday. Anyone else taken Endometrin?

Just wanting to say Congrats on your recent BFFP Luv!!!

    Hi Girls......

Just quickly popping in to let you know I have been following along from the sidelines but have been too flat out to do personals since Wed unfortunately when both the Ex went in for his spinal surgery and I took DD to the Children's Hospital to complete the rest of her hearing test

Both events went well. DD passed her hearing test in full with no problems detected at all and the fluid she did have in her ears has almost resolved completely of its own accord, so that's the end of that as far as the Audiologist is concerned. A little bit more time is all that's required she says for the rest of the fluid to clear. She doesn't want any further follow-ups unless the Paed thinks it's needed which is fine by me as the bloody parking bill for just under 2.5 hours was $23 FFS's!!! Frucking unreal!!!!

The Ex's surgery went well despite him waiting until 2pm to actually get into surgery!! He was 3rd on the surgical list for the day but who knows why it took so long for him to get in there?? (prob an emergency or complication from a previous patient holding up proceedings...he would of been starving too having fasted from midnight the night before!!!) however, he finally did get into surgery at 2 pm and I spoke with him at 9pm that night.

Everything until today has gone well..he's been up and about walking etc (albeit with a back brace that he will have to wear for a couple of months due to the muscles in his back now being weakened from the surgery) though his pain has been pretty bad which is to be expected as he's just had major spinal surgery. Today, he has experienced something new which is severe nerve pain in both his legs. Prior to the surgery when his disc was compressing his spinal nerve it was just in the one leg and this morning it has now affected both his legs for the first time ever.

The Surgical Team who work with the Ex's Surgeon have been to see him and have ordered scans (presumably to see if the rods/screws have moved out of posistion) but feel that the nerve pain is probably a side effect of the swelling in his spine from the surgery as he's done nothing that would've caused the rods/screws to move (such as having a fall for eg). I think so too so will have to see what the scans reveal.

The Ex is freaking out it's some kind of permanent complication from the surgery that's happened....Anyhoo....for the next few weeks while he's staying with me and recuperating, I'll be following from the sidelines mainly and posting when I can. Just wanted to let you know what was happening and that I haven't abandoned ship or anything!! Just a bit flat out is all!!!

Thinking of you all and sending much love, hugs (and sticky BFFP vibes) your way!!! xoxoxox
