Back to work next week. So we can bank up finances. Apply for my super to do donor egg in qld with dr Salisbury. I have my cereal letter and my Skype appointment booked.

Once we pay our money to supercare hopefully it will be fully steam ahead with donor eggs and project sibling.

Would love to be able to highly suggest to FS to put back two.
Oh Luv...I bet you can't wait to put this moving ordeal behind you!!! Sounds like it's been an absolute nightmare for you not to mention bloody exhausting too!!!

I hear you about the internet caper!! I'm having to sort that issue out myself here myself. ATM, the account is in the Ex's name (who has to have it transferred to his new place...he's on contract with Telstra) and I need to have a new account set up with the provider of my choice which is going to take me around a week to do as they'll need to courier up a modem for me etc (I'm not going wireless at this stage). Need to work out whether the Ex has to transfer his account first before I can set up mine or not??? I've got NFI how it all works???

Anyhoo..as for transferring 2 embryo's that have resulted from a DE..as a matter of fact, you can under certain circumstances according to the Guidelines for the RTAC:

    http://www.fertilitysociety.com.au/w...inal-20141.pdf

If you go to page 11 of 32 you will see it clearly states that:

 recommend to patients that no more than
one embryo or oocyte is transferred in the
first treatment cycle where the oocyte is
obtained from a woman aged less than 35
years at the time of oocyte collection.

 must ensure that no more than two
embryos or oocytes are transferred in any
one treatment cycle in a woman under the
age of 40 years at the time of oocyte
    collection.

 must ensure that no more than two
embryos or oocytes are transferred to a
recipient woman, of any age, in any one
treatment cycle, where the oocytes are
donated from a woman aged less than 40
years at the time of oocyte collection.

 must ensure that patients receive
    information on the economic, medical,
    social and psychological hazards
    associated with multiple pregnancy.

So, as you can see from what I've copied and paste, there is scope within the guidelines to transfer 2 DE embryo's here in Australia...However..it will not be allowed on your first transfer Cycle and you will have to find a Clinic and FS who will do it after what I would assume would be several failed transfer Cycles.

What I do know is that QFG will do it as I have very close friend who was all set to have 2 DE embryo's transferred in exactly this scenario (but the Cycle ended up being cancelled for many different reasons)..you can guess who her FS was and it wasn't Scott Salisbury!!

My advice to you is when you do have a meeting with him is to discuss this with him and to put this exact scenario to him and see what side of the fence he sits on Would he be willing to transfer 2 embryo's if, God forbid, you had, say, 3 failed transfers??? Or is he staunchly opposed under all circumstances??? You can at least go in there armed with the Fertility Society's Guidelines that says it's within the framework to do a DET (double embryo transfer) so he can't say it's not allowed as it is under certain circumstances and it's certainly not "illegal" in this country etc.

Best know what you're dealing with and what he's prepared to do/not do before your Cycle gets underway is my advice Luv BTW...He actually has a pretty good reputation for what it's worth!!!

@Phia im terrified and then surprised at each ultrasound. But one day at a time. Do know how long 1 day takes a whole 24hrs.lol i see wazza monday. Haha it will feel like an eternity til then. Especially since well i have nothing to do but google. Grrr im not a bed rest person. This will test me but i will do anything and everything to keep this lo. X

So ladies what should i be eating. High protein. low sugar/ low carb. I have x2 cups of tea a day is this ok? Ive cut coffee. I have one cup of nescafe mocha every 4 days. Used to have 3 a day so im trying. I cant eat seafood. Unfortunately veges and salad which i used to live off make me almost throw up huh go figure. So fruit is ok. Nuts. Meat and omelets seem to be my favourite.
