Yeah I've had an HSG. Not sure why he would want that done but I'm sure there is a very good reason. You could always call up and speak to the nurse, they will probably know.
Also welcome to the group, there are no off-topics here so feel free to ask away!

Thank you, I'm not sure I want to have it done what with the risk of infection but he is suggesting we do it before he moves forward with iui/ivf so we know they have a chance of working.
I'm in a bit of a negative place with the whole thing after my 5th miscarriage (in 2 years) in December. Having hubby tested next month to make sure we're not incompatible chromosomally under warrens advice. Can't believe the woman I was seeing for the last year didn't recommend any of these things!

Oh that's terrible it wasn't suggested previously to have your chromosomes checked. I'm so sorry that happened to you. Sounds odd but I hope something does come up in your chromosome tests cos then you'll have an answer/reason for your precious losses and you can make a plan going forward. I have a chromosome issue so we have to do PGD so we can determine which embryos are normal and only do a transfer with them

Thanks ladies, I'm planning to wait until I get my blood results and I'm making a list of questions to ask them at the same time (just added what is pdg to the list!) hubby's not home for this cycle so I've decided to skip the HSG for this month anyway
Fingers crossed for answers from the bloods!

I have been trying to put things in place over here today whilst in the UK and things are proving difficult. I saw the GP today and he wont approve my intralipids as he has never heard of them and apparently he signs the script and it comes back on him. He also refered me to midwife care for an early scan so I rang them and apparently they wont scan me unless I register to give birth here. Luckily the midwife was so helpful and gave me the number of a private clinic who saw me tonight at last minute. I am only 6 weeks and 3 days so still early days but through an abdominal scan she could only see a sac and yolk sac and put me over 4 weeks I explained the ivf situation and the fact I know dates exactly. She then did the internal scan and managed to see slightly more and a flicker of a heart beat so said all was good, it was such a relief I broke down into tears. In her notes she decided to not write dhe had seen the flicker of heartbeat which means I can go back for another free scan next week. I am happy and relieved. Now just need to sort intralipids somehow which may be a harder process.

Sorry you're having a difficult time sorting stuff in England. I also needed a scan whilst I was there and it was a pain to sort out! Thankfully I managed it but they didn't want me to register giving birth there. Who knows. So pleased you got a heart beat! Hope the intralipids sort themselves out.

    everyone,
@Heyside - I hope you get the intralipids sorted. How lovely you saw a flicker of the heart beat... you must of been so relieved.

AFM, transfer is going ahead for tomorrow morning . The two embryos are a little behind.... today is day 4 and they should be morulas but they're at 10 cell and one has been upgraded to grade 3.
Today is my last day of work for a couple of weeks and I'm really looking forward to chilling out

    I hope everyone is well
