Hey all! I really didn't know where to ask this. Hence, I'm here. My nephew who is 13 years old, has a very special habit. He always carries a knife wherever he goes. He is so much attracted to knives and blades that he loves to carry them all the time. He even carries one to school. He doesn't use it in public though nor he has hurt anyone. But, I recently read in a blog that carrying such dangerous weapons are a criminal offence. http://www.torontodefencelawyers.com...minal-charges/ Also his mother is really worried about this habit of his. Hence, could anyone please advice as to how this could be stopped. We have tried speaking to him and even tried making him to understand how dangerous it is. Yet, he wanna continue doing it.

From what you linked you're based in Canada? But the same laws apply here
Honestly no way would I be allowing this to happen no matter how fascinated with a weapon a child is.
I suggest your sister contacts a child psychologist to get him support for changing this behaviour. I find it immensely unsettling thinking that a 13 year old child could have a knife on them.

I agree with @Sonja.
Get him to a psych. I would also lock up the knives. Good luck.
