    Default Good kid's bikes

So one of the things on the xmas list is new bikes for the kids.

In previous years i have just bought ones from kmart/big w and tbh the quality lacks...the main reason why they need new ones again.

As my kids are a bit older now and ready for 50cm bikes, i wana get them desent ones.

Im thinking between $100 and $200.

    Any recommendations on brands?

We only get the Specialized brand, you'll find it at most bike shops, DH rides a lot and wanted to get DS a good bike from the start, his first one he got at 3, I think it's a little more than your budget ($250-300) and we sold it for $100 2 years later when he got his mountain bike ( same brand)

How old are your kids? My eldest is 8 and now fits a 60cm bike. We live in an area that has some hills so my husband reckons we should get a bike with gears and they are expensive but I figure it will last her years now with the size of it.

    Here's a 50cm one in anaconda https://www.anacondastores.com/cycli...e/p/BP90077072

We bought my DS1 a specialized brand bike last Christmas, seems to be excellent quality, although he doesn't get to ride it too much as it is too hilly around here so we have to drive to the park to ride it.
