    As much as I'd love to do A, that kind of money would help us out significantly so I'd do C. There's no way I could just take it, but I'd feel comfortable knowing I'd reported to the police and given someone a chance to get their money back first.

    Look if I'm honest I'd probably buy the jacket with the intention of B. But then I think I'd feel too guilty actually spending the money so I'd hand it in!

    We need the money. I'd do B and not feel too awful.

    I think the op shop are quite mean for not sharing the money with this man, they were lucky he was so honest. As for me, I reckon I would have probably pocketed one envelope and given the other to the opportunity shop lol

    Although knowing me, I probably wouldn't have looked in the pockets.

    If I saw the money before buying it i would definitely hand it in.

    My sister had a sort of similar situation where she bought an antique table/buffet from someone online who had picked it up from a deceased estate - about 2yrs after she purchased it she was doing some stretches on the floor and noticed an envelope stuck to the bottom of one of the drawers.. Inside it was $10k!

    Needless to say, she kept it
