I'm so sorry to hear that. I mmc at 10wks and was so annoyed at my body for not dealing with it - felt so defeated by it.

Argh I'm so confused now! At my scan on Saturday the lady said definitely a missed miscarriage. Have just been to my GP who says there's been growth and ordered more bloods. Has anyone had this happen? All measurements have doubled in 5 days but still no heartbeat.

How confusing and stressful for you! I never had growth between scans with mine. What was the difference in measurements? Is there a fetal pole, etc?

I am so stressed out, physically don't know what to do. On a little bit of a timeframe too with DH heading away with work.
Everything was visible. Crown rump went from 3.4mm to 6mm and fetal pole went from 4mm to 8mm. Scans were 5 days apart.

I would do one more scan. Maybe you ovulated really late? If there is growth and you are not 100% sure then I would scan again. Hugs xx

I'd definitely wait and have another scan. That's significant growth and fits almost exactly with what normal growth should be:

"The fetal pole grows at a rate of about 1 mm a day, starting at the 6th week of gestational age. Thus, a simple way to "date" an early pregnancy is to add the length of the fetus (in mm) to 6 weeks. Using this method, a fetal pole measuring 5 mm would have a gestational age of 6 weeks and 5 days."

So going by this I think you'd only be just over 7 weeks and fetal heartbeat can be really hard to pick up before 8 weeks unless you're having an internal scan with good equipment.

You may have just ovulated or implanted late. Implantation can take up to 12 days...

I don't want to give you false hope, but I just think that so far you don't have anything to conclusively decide viability of the pregnancy.

As hard as it is being in limbo, I think waiting is your best course of action.

Still praying for a miracle bub for you hun xoxo
