I don't know if we should expect anyone at our house. We're new on the block so not sure whether kids usually come around here. Unfortunately we have absolutely zero treats to give out. Unless kids want fruit, but we're even low on that. We have lots of carrots though!
    Horse carrots?

We've had about 7 separate groups knock on our door.

We had a balloon on the mailbox, but I took it down at 7pm because we're almost out of loot - that and I figure the majority have already done the rounds by this time of the evening.

I will be home late but left a big bowl of fun size chocolate bars in the fridge in case people knock while my mum is home looking after DD. I'm hoping no-one comes and I get to Eat Them All. :evil laugh:

This happened to us years ago, when I was a fully grown adult living at home and thought it would be fun getting a huge bowl of chocolates ready for trick or treaters.. None ended up coming and my brother and I ate ALL the chocolates ourselves

It's technically true ... but the baby is in my belly
My df is at work so I don't want random people knocking on my door so I put a sign saying I'd run out of lollies I do feel bad I also don't.. being home alone with DS..

Noone has come around tonight. They have not for a few years. I don't have any lollies or chocolate anyway.

Were about to head out a second time as there weren't many people home earlier. Kids all dressed up and eaten dinner.

Love Halloween everyone in our area is out and about and parents chatting while kids run around.

Sure as hell makes me happier than all the fuss over melb cup tomorrow. P
